Globally and locally several major websites are down as they are showing 500 Internal Server Error.
Readers of The Daily Star have reached out to us and reported several global and local sites, including Bangladesh Sangbad Sangshta (BSS), Dhaka Tribune and Somoy News Online, have been found showing 500 Internal Server Error.
Globally, several popular news such as Shopify, Ancestory, Zendesk etc are also down.
Industry experts are assuming that this outage might be due to a technical problem at Amazon Web Service (AWS) end.
