The government is doing all it can to the flood-affected people of the country, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said.
She was addressing a media call at the Prime Minister’s Office in Dhaka on Wednesday.
The authorities were doing everything they needed to do in the flood-hit areas from rescue work to relief distribution, the prime minister added.
“We are distributing dry and cooked food, saline and medicines in the flood-affected regions. We are ready to deal with any diseases that may result from the floods,” she said.
