Police detained at least two persons in connection with the gang rape of a beauty parlour service provider after she was called at a house in Dhaka's Shukrabad area on Tuesday night (October 11, 2022).
A team of police detained them from different area in Dhaka, an official of Tejgaon Division Police confirmed it.
Police will brief on the arrest later in the day.
Earlier, the husband of the victim filed a case with Sher-E-Bangla Nagar Police Station accusing four persons including a woman, said Officer-in-charge of the police station Utpal Barua.
On Tuesday, the victim got a call from a woman requesting her parlour services at a house in Dhanmondi area, victim's bother told.
A youth met the victim at Dhanmondi around 8:00pm yesterday and took her to a flat at Shukrabad where three youths raped her in front of another girl, the one who believed to have called the victim.
