Biman’s recruitment tests suspended after question leak, five held

The detective branch of police arrested five staff of Biman Bangladesh Airlines as the question papers of its job recruitment test were leaked on Friday.

The raids are on and detectives are trying to find out the origin point of the leak, said Dhaka Metropolitan Police deputy commissioner for DB (Lalbagh) Moshiur Rahman.

The examinations, scheduled to be held on Friday, were also suspended following the disclosure of the leak, said the police officer.

Details will be revealed in a media briefing on Saturday, Moshiur said.

Biman Bangladesh Airlines authorities on Friday suspended their recruitment test for 100 posts under different category as the question papers were leaked.

The Biman's managing director Zahid Hossain said that they had suspended the examination before beginning it.

He said that the police launched an investigation into the matter.

Zahid said that the candidates would be notified about the new date of the recruitment test through text messages.

Meanwhile, candidates who reached their centres before the examination staged demonstration in the capital's Uttara.
