Misconduct with judge at B’baria courtroom: HC asks BTRC to remove videos

The High Court today directed Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) to immediately remove the videos of misconduct by some lawyers with a judge at Brahmanbaria courtroom and their processions and slogans from the social media.

The HC bench of Justice JBM Hassan and Justice Razik-Al-Jalil passed the order following a prayer moved by Attorney General AM Amin Uddin seeking necessary directive to this effect.

The three lawyers appeared before the HC bench this morning in line with its January 5 summons order.

The HC asked the lawyers to appear before the court on February 14 and place their explanations about their conducts.

Attorney General AM Amin Uddin represented the state while a section of Supreme Court lawyers including Supreme Court Bar Association President Md Momtaz Uddin Fakir and its Secretary Md Abdun Nur Dulal appeared for the three Brahmanbaria lawyers during the hearing today.
