A BNP executive committee member today filed a case against Harun-Or-Rashid, chief of the detective branch of police, and nine others today for vandalising the party's Nayapaltan office and looting valuables on December 7.
Nazimuddin Alam, a former lawmaker from Bhola-4, filed the case with a Dhaka court this morning.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Rajesh Chowdhury recorded statements of the complainant and said he would pass an order on the issue later in the day.
