This year's Secondary School Certificate examinations will start from April 30, said Dhaka education board chairman Tapan Kumar Sarkar.
Exams will take place in all subjects, will be marked out of 100, and will be on revised syllabuses, he said.
The SSC candidates will sit for exams on Bangla, English, mathematics and a fourth subject, apart from three optional subjects.
In 2021, examinees sat for tests on only three optional subjects with a shortened syllabus and fewer marks than usual due to the pandemic.
This year's SSC exams will start almost two months later than normal. In the pre-Covid period, the exams usually began during the first week of February.
