A train collided with a bus of Shohag Paribahan at Malibagh rail crossing in Bangladesh capital Dhaka on Wednesday evening, the police said.
The incident took place at about 9:00pm.
Hayatul Islam Khan, deputy commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police’s Motijheel division, said the bus was hit by the train but there was no passenger in the bus.
‘The driver had been taking position but the bus was hit by the train accidentally…there is huge traffic congestion in the area. But, no causalities was reported so far,’ he said, adding, ‘We initiated a search’.
