At least eight persons were killed in a gunfight in Bandarban's Rowangchhari upazila last night.
Abdul Mannan, officer-in-charge of Rowangchhari Police Station, said eight people were killed in the gunfight between two groups of criminals in Khamthampara area.
On information, police recovered the bodies around 12:30pm today and sent those to Bandarban Sadar Hospital, he told our local correspondent.
The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
