The body of Gonoshasthaya Kendra founder and valiant freedom fighter Dr Zafrullah Chowdhury will be kept at the Central Shaheed Minar for three hours tomorrow so that people can pay their last respects.
The body will be at the Shaheed Minar from 10:00am to 1:00pm. Dr Zafrullah's body will be given a guard of honour, Gonoshasthaya Kendra Chairperson Alfatun Nesa Maya said at a briefing today.
From Shaheed Minar, his body will be taken to Suhrawardy Udyan where his first namaz-e-janaza will be held held at 2:30pm.
On April 14, his body will be taken to Gonoshasthaya Kendra in Savar at 10:00am for his second namaz-e-janaza to be held after Juma prayers.
Dr Zafrullah breathed his last around 11:00pm yesterday while undergoing treatment at Gonoshasthaya Nagar Hospital in Dhanmondi.
His body has been kept in the mortuary of BIRDEM.
