There will be rain or thundershowers at some areas in Dhaka, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions in the 24 hours starting from 9:00am today, according to a forecast of the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD).
A Met office bulletin said rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally winds are likely at one or two places in Dhaka, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions with hailstorms at isolated places.
The weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country.
Daytime temperatures may rise slightly and night temperatures may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
A trough of low persists over West Bengal to North Bay, the bulletin said.
