The authorities have suspended Monday's Secondary School Certificate or SSC exam under all educational boards due to Cyclone Mocha, which was crossing the Bangladesh coastline on Sunday.
The Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee in a notification on Sunday said the exam under Chittagong, Comilla, Jessore, Barishal, madrasa and technical education had been suspended, but questions for all boards were identical, which was why it had decided to suspend the exam for all boards.
The date for the suspended exam would be announced later, it added.
Meanwhile, the exam for Tuesday would take place as scheduled, the committee said.
