Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at many places over the country, said a met office forecast for the next 24 hours commencing 9am on Thursday.
"Rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions with hails at isolated places over the country," said the met office release.
Trough of low extends from West Bengal to North Bay.
Day temperature may rise slightly and Night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, it also said.
Country's maximum temperature on Wednesday was recorded by 34.5°C at Tangail and minimum temperature on Thursday was recorded by 20.6°C at Srimangal.
The sun sets at 06.39pm on Thursday and rises at 05.12am on Friday in the capital.
