Mild heat wave to continue for next 4-5 days

The mild to moderate heat wave sweeping over the country is likely to continue for the next four to five days, Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) said today.

"Weather may remain mainly dry with the temporary partly cloudy sky over the country, having chances of light rain/thundershowers at one or two places over Chattogram division," said the daily weather bulletin of the BMD.

Day and night temperatures may rise slightly over the country.

The lowest temperature in the country was recorded at 23.3 degrees Celsius in Tetulia upazila of Panchagarh today and the highest temperature was recorded at 38.6 degrees Celsius in Rajshahi on Tuesday.
