Man killed in gunfight between two groups at Rohingya camp

A 35-year-old man was killed in a gunfight between two groups at H/32 block of Ukhiya Rohingya camp-10 in Cox’s Bazar on early Tuesday.

The deceased was identified as Bashir Ullah, son of Faju Mia, of Ukhiya Rohingya camp-10.

Ukhiya Police Station officer-in-charge Sheikh Mohammad Ali said that a gunfight broke out between Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army and Rohingya Solidarity Organisation, two terrorist groups, around 4:00am on Tuesday.

At the time, Bashir Ullah was shot in the head and he died on the spot, the OC said, adding that the body was sent to Cox’s Bazar District Sadar Hospital for post-mortem examinations.
