Gono Odhikar Parishad accuses former leader of vandalism, document theft

Rashed Khan, general secretary of Gono Odhikar Parishad, has complained that important registration-related documents of the party were taken away by breaking the lock of the gate.

He also informed the media that a new lock has been put on the collapsible gate of the office.

Rashed Khan said: "The former joint convener of the party, Mia Moshiuzzaman, and people from the intelligence agency entered our office by breaking its lock and took away the necessary documents for the party's registration. They then closed the main gate of the office with a new lock. When party leaders went to the office in the morning, they discovered this and informed us."

In response to the complaint, Moshiuzzaman said: "We repeatedly asked Nurul Haque Nur to vacate the office due to unpaid rent, but they refused to leave and instead questioned my ownership. They are now threatening not to leave the office unless they are shown proper proof."

"Due to the threat to my ancestral property, I constructed a new gate with the help of my mason and placed it in front of the party's office gate. There is no involvement of others in this work," he added.
