Medical admission test: Questions leaked 10 times in 16 years

A racket has leaked medical college admission test question papers at least 10 times in the last 16 years, said Criminal Investigation Department today.

CID has arrested 12 people of the racket recently, including seven doctors, in connection with leaking question papers of the centralised medical college admission test.

From 2001 to 2017, this racket has been responsible for leaking medical admission test questions 10 times, CID chief Mohammad Ali Mia, additional inspector general of police, said in a press conference at the CID Headquarters in Malibagh today.

Among those arrested, five were associated with the BNP and one with the Jamaat-e-Islami, he added.

CID has found evidence of transaction information of crores of taka from their bank accounts, and the matter is currently under investigation for potential money laundering, the CID chief said.
