Four people, including three of a family, were electrocuted to death Thursday night as a live electric wire tore and fell on a road submerged in water, after heavy rain near Mirpur Commerce College in Bangladesh capital Dhaka.
Locals said that the incident took place at about 10:00pm.
They said that a total of five people were electrocuted there and they were rushed to Suhrwardy Medical College Hospital where doctors declared four of them dead.
Dhaka Metropolitan Police’s deputy commissioner for Mirpur zone, Jasim Uddin Molla, said that the bodies were kept at Suhrwardy Medical College Hospital morgue.
