A fire broke out in a shop in the capital's Lalbagh area on Monday.
Seven firefighting units were trying to douse the blaze that originated around 1:30pm, said Anwarul Islam, an official (media wing) of the Fire Service and Civil Defence.
On information, seven firefighting units rushed to the spot and are trying to tame the blaze.
No casualties were reported as yet, he added.
