Three people including two siblings were killed when a truck hit a three-wheeler van at Ranirhat in Singra upazila of Natore district on Monday.
The deceased were identified as Husne Ara, 45, and van puller Emran, 22, and his brother Rabbi, 18, sons of Abdul Momin of village Bankurail of the upazila.
The accident occurred at about 11:30am when the truck of an animal feed company crashed into the van, leaving three people dead on the spot, said Abul Kalam, officer-in-charge of Singra police station.
Angered by the accident, local people vandalised the truck and seized three more trucks of the same company.
On information, police brought the situation under control and sent the bodies to the local hospital morgue for post-mortem examinations.
