Nizam Uddin, the manager of Sonali Bank’s Ruma branch in Bandarban, has been rescued 48 hours after his abduction.
Director of the Legal and Media Wing of the Rapid Action Battalion Khandaker Al Moin confirmed the matter in Thursday evening.
Nizam was rescued at about 7:15pm and he was taken to the local RAB camp in Bandarban, he added.
A group of armed members of Kuki-Chin National Front attacked the Upazila Parishad office and later they stormed to Sonali Bank’s Ruma Branch in Bandarban and abducted its manager Nizam Uddin at about 8:30pm on Tuesday.
