‘Mild to moderate heat wave is sweeping over Rajshahi division and the Bagerhat, Kushtia and Chuadanga districts and it may spread,’ said a Met office bulletin.

Day temperature may rise by 1-2 °C and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
A trough of westerly low lies over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and adjoining area. Seasonal low lies over South Bay.
