Police on Thursday detained three officials of the Kashinathpur branch of Agrani Bank in Pabna over their alleged involvement in irregularities worth around Tk10.5 crore.
After the day-long audit on Thursday, the authorities of the Agrani Bank noticed the irregularities and handed the officials over to Santhia police station at 7pm.
The arrestees are Branch Manager Harun Bin Salam, Cash Officer Subrata Chakraborty and Senior Officer Abu Jafar.
In this regard, Santhia police station Officer-in-Charge Anwar Hossain said the detainees would be sent to court on Friday and further details would be revealed later.
