Rapid Action Battalion claimed to have detained two people in Dhaka for allegedly posing as Anti-Corruption Commission officials.
They were arrested in Hajaribagh area of the capital, Bangla daily Prothom Alo reports citing a text message sent by Rab.
The duo used to introduce themselves as senior officials of the and extort government officials by threatening them of graft cases, the daily adds.
A total of 22 mobile phones including the phone they used for their Bkash transactions were seized from their possession.
