A fire broke out at a lubricant warehouse in Narayanganj’s Fatulla area this morning.
Eight firefighting units from Fatullah, Hajiganj and Narayanganj fire stations were trying to douse the fire when the report was filed around 12:45pm.
The godown was used to store highly flammable lubricants, that’s why the fire spread swiftly, our correspondent reports quoting Sanaullah Haque, senior station officer of Narayanganj Fire Service and Civil Defense.
However, there were no news of any casualties. The extent of loss could not be known immediately.
