A fire broke out at a slum beside Film Development Corporation (FDC)’s old gate in Tejgaon industrial area this afternoon.
The fire originated around 12:10pm from the valuables piled inside the slum following an eviction drive there, said a duty officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence.
On information, three fire-fighting units rushed to the spot and were working to put out blaze.
No casualty was reported from the fire till 12:30pm.
