A woman died of dengue at Khulna Medical College Hospital (KMCH) here early Wednesday.
The deceased was identified as Lovely Akhter, 30, wife of Jamir Ali of Baliadanga village in Keshabpur upazila of Jashore district.
Shoilendranath Biswas, a resident physician of the KMCH, said Lovely was admitted to the hospital with dengue on Tuesday evening and she died around 2:30 am.
According to the district Civil Surgeon office, 16 people have so far died of dengue in the district.
