A young man was killed when a truck hit him at Brac intersection in Damurhuda upazila on Tuesday night.
The deceased was identified as Nasirullah, 25, son of Momjar Ali of Dashomipara in the upazila.
Sukumar Biswas, officer-in-charge of Damurhuda Police Station, said the accident took place around 9pm.
Nasirullah was severely injured after being hit by a truck while crossing the road.
Later, he was taken to Sadar hospital where the doctors pronounced him dead.
