BSMMU vice-chancellor Kanak Kanti Barua has been tested positive for COVID-19.
Kanak confirmed about his infection on Monday.
He told that he and other family members were infected with the novel coronavirus.
BSMMU public relations officer Proshanto Majumder said that the vice-chancellor was in isolation in his house.
The university is one of the country’s biggest health facilities offering COVID-19 test services.
