Readymade garment workers staged a demonstration, demanding payment of due salaries and Eid bonuses, at Kamalapur area of Dhaka on Wednesday morning.
Monir Hossain Molla, Inspector (Investigation) of Motijheel police station confirmed the matter and said workers of 'Binny Garments' staged the demonstration demanding wages for the month of April and Eid bonuses.
He added that police members spoke to the owners of Binny Garments, and they assured them that they will start paying due wages and bonuses through Bkash within the hour.
