A total of 112 leaders and activists of the BNP's front organisations were shown arrested today in two cases filed over the December-7 clash between the party men and police in front of Nightingale Restaurant in Dhaka's Ramna area.
Md Iqbal Hossain Shyamal, former general secretary of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal, is among the accused in the cases filed with Ramna Police Station.
Dhaka Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Muhammad Asaduzzaman Nur passed the order after two sub-inspectors of the police station submitted two separate petitions in this regard.
During today's hearing, all the 112 accused were produced before the court.
