BNP’s 3 leaders won’t attend AL’s council

Three members of BNP's standing committee members who were invited to the Awami League's national council will not attend the event.

BNP organising secretary Syed Emran Saleh Prince, who is acting office secretary of BNP, told The Daily Star that the three leaders are outside the capital to attend pre-scheduled programmes.

The BNP leaders are Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain, Abdul Moyeen Khan and Nazrul Islam Khan.

On Friday noon, a delegation headed by Awami League deputy office secretary Abu Sayem went to BNP central office at the capital's Nayapaltan and invited them to join the council, which started at Syhrawardy Udyan at 10:30am.
