BNP leaders break lock to enter Naya Paltan office after 75 days

Leaders and activists of the BNP led by Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi entered the central office of the party on Thursday morning for the first time since October 29, after two and a half months, by breaking the lock on the entrance.

They entered the office at 10:30am.

Entering the office, Rizvi said: “After two and a half months, we broke the lock and entered our office. On October 28, the day of our grand rally, our program was marred by a violent rampage. Then the police locked our office. They did not allow anyone to enter for so long. Now we entered the office.”

Cleaning work will be carried out inside the office now, said the BNP leader.
