The main opposition Bangladesh Nationalist Party on Saturday announced that it would hold a black flag procession across the country on January 30.

‘On January 30, there will be a black flag march in all cities, all districts, all upazilas and all municipal councils and other units, to demand the cancellation of the illegal dummy parliament and the election of the national parliament under a non-partisan neutral government,’ he said.

Earlier, thousands of leaders and activists gathered in front of the BNP central office at Naya Paltan on the occasion of the black-flag procession as a pre-announced programme.
