Science college students vandalise 3 buses in Farmgate

Dhaka, Dec 5 (Just News): At least three buses were vandalised by students of Government Science College centering allegedly a dispute over bus fare on the Kazi Nazrul Islam Avenue in Farmgate of Dhaka this morning.

Law enforcers detained a student from the spot near Farmgate cinema hall around 11:00am, Md Ujjal, a traffic sergeant told this.

The attackers vandalised the windshields and window glasses of the busses of Labbaik Paribahan after they forced the passengers to get down from the vehicles one after another, Fuad Hasan, an eyewitness, said.

At one point, law enforcers were able to disperse the 20-25 attacking students.

A severe traffic congestion was created due to the vandalism on the road during the morning rush hours.

Students of the same college vandalised a bus of Swadhin Paribahan in similar fashion three months ago, the traffic sergeant said.
