Bangladeshi expats in Ukraine can enter Poland without visa: Embassy

Bangladeshi expatriates living in Ukraine will be allowed to enter Poland without visas, said a press release of the Bangladesh Embassy in Warsaw posted by state minister for foreign affairs Shahriar Alam on his verified Facebook page on Friday.

Valid passport holders will be able to enter Poland by showing their passports to the border guards.

Those who do not have a passport will be allowed to enter Poland with a travel pass.

Every Bangladeshi has been requested to bring two copies of passport sized coloured photos, the release said.

A delegation from the Bangladesh Embassy in Warsaw will leave for the Poland-Ukraine border Saturday morning. They will assist Bangladeshis wishing to enter Poland from Ukraine.

Due to extra traffic caused by isolated bomb blasts inside Ukraine and insufficient petrol, expatriates were requested to monitor the situation and leave the border, it added.
