A man and his four sons were stabbed to death in the remote area of Bandarban's Ruma Upazila last night.
Jerin Akhter, superintendent of the Bandarban District Police confirmed the matter.
Detail of the deceased could not be known immediately.
The incident took place at Abupara area in the upazila's Galenga Union, said the SP.
"So far, we have received information about the death of a headman and his four sons. Our team is going to the spot," she said.
"We came to know that the killings happened during a clash between the family and their neighbours," the SP said.
