Bangladesh authorities reported 36 Covid-19 infections and zero deaths in the 24 hours till 8am on Tuesday.
As many as 6,885 samples were tested across the country yielding a daily positivity rate of 0.52%, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) bulletin.
The latest development has taken the total caseload to 1,951,867 while the total number of fatalities stand at 29,123.
A total of 899 people recovered in the 24-hour period, taking the total recoveries to 1,885,251.
The mortality rate stands at 1.49% while the recovery rate stands at 96.59%.
