Three people were killed and 15 injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a truck in Fakirhat upazila of Bagerhat this morning.
The accident took place around 7:30 am in Palerhat area on the Khulna-Mawa highway, reports our local correspondent quoting Abul Hasan, in-charge of Mollahat Highway Police Station.
The deceased include the drivers of the two vehicles and a 10-month-old identified as Ayan Sheikh who was travelling with his parents, the police official added.
The 15 injured have been rescued and admitted to different hospitals and clinics, he also said.
