Dipu Moni expresses concern over communal insensitivity in HSC question

Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni has expressed concern over communal insensitivity in the Bangla First Paper question of an education board in the ongoing The Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC).

“It is unfortunate that a question like this somehow skipped the scrutiny of the moderators,” she said while talking to reporters at the International Mother Language Institute on Monday.

She added: “We are trying to identify those involved so that they refrain from such acts in future.”

She further said Bangladesh is a secular and democratic country. It is very unfortunate that any exam paper contains any anti-communal remarks.

“The incident is unacceptable,” she noted.

There have been allegations of communal incitement in two creative questions of Comilla Education Board and Dhaka Education Board.
