HSC question involving “communal issue”: 5 identified

Five people, who were allegedly involved in making and editing of HSC Bangla first part exam's question, which was hurtful to the religious sentiments of the Hindus, have been identified.

Tapan Kumar Sarker, chairman of Dhaka Education Board, confirmed the development to The Daily Star today (November 8, 2022).

The five identified persons Assistant Professor of Dr Saiful Islam Degree College Prashanta Kumar Pal; Associate Professor of Narail Government Victoria College Syed Tajuddin Shaon; Associate Professor of Satkhira Government Mahila College Md Shafiqur Rahman; Assistant Professor of Mirzapur United College Shyamal Kumar Ghosh; and Assistant Professor of Bheramara Adarsha College in Kushtia Rezaul Karim.

"All the accused are from Jashore Board. The Jashore Board will soon give them a show-cause notice as to why action should not be taken against them," he added.
