The government has appointed Md Mahbub Hossain as new the cabinet secretary.
The Ministry of Public Administration issued a gazette notification over the appointment of Md Mahbub Hossain, senior secretary of Energy and Mineral Resources Division of the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources.
Md Mahbub Hossain replaced after Kabir Bin Anwar, who was appointed the cabinet secretary on December 11 last year, went on Post Retirement Leave (PRL).
