Seven people were killed when a bus rammed into a battery-run auto-rickshaw and a motorcycle in Pirojpur's Sadar upazila today.
Identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
The accident took place on the Pirojpur-Parerhat local road in Jhautola area.
Md Ashiquzzaman, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station, confirmed the incident to our local correspondent.
Isa Khan, a local, said the bus left Pirojpur Bus Stand for Chondipur around 11:30am. When it reached Jhautola, it hit a battery-run auto-rickshaw from behind, and then it hit the motorcycle.
