Members of Rapid Action Battalion in a drive arrested a suspected extremist from an extremist den at Shibnarayanpur village in Kansat union of Shibganj upazila under Chapainawabganj district.
The arrestee is Monirul Islam.
Lt Col Mahbubul Alam, commanding officer of RAB-5, at a press briefing said that on information that 2/3 accused of Gulshan Holey Artisan attack case were staying at the village, they cordoned off 15-20 houses from 3:30am.
They arrested one Monirul from a house and ended the drive around 8:00am.
