The government would extend the on-going holiday till April 25 amid coronavirus pandemic across the country, public administration ministry sources said on Friday.
The sources said that April 15, 16, and 19-23 would be declared general holiday, while April 17, 18, 24 and 25 would be weekends.
Earlier, the holiday was from March 26-April 4 which was extended to April 11. The holiday later included the next two days and government holiday on April 14 for Bengali New Year.
