Rizvi leads mass campaign in Dhaka calling for election boycott

BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has organized a mass campaign in the capital’s Uttara to help make the party’s non-cooperation movement successful and call on the public to boycott the election.

On Friday morning, he distributed leaflets in the kitchen market of Sector 11, Uttara.

At that time Dhaka Metropolitan North Joint Convener Mustafa Zaman, Thana BNP leader Harun-Or-Rashid Khoka, Ripon Hasan, Solaiman, among other leaders and activists, were present.

Rizvi said: “The people of Bangladesh rejected the one-sided dummy election, but yesterday (Thursday), I saw that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was promoting on social media that 'BNP and their allies are obstructing the election of Bangladesh and they have intensified their efforts to implement the blockade to achieve their goals'.”

He said that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is working as a collaborator of the government. By standing against the people of Bangladesh, they have assumed the role of new Razakars.
