Dhaka, Sep 6 (Just News): The chief election commissioner, KM Nurul Huda, on Thursday said that finance minister AMA Muhith should not have spoken anything on the election process.
‘We did not tell him anything that he said. He made a mistake. He should not have done such thing,’ the chief election commissioner said responding to a question at a news conference after the concluding meeting of the Forum of Election Management Bodies of South Asia at Radisson Hotel in Dhaka.
Finance minister AMA Muhith on Wednesday said that the election-time government would be formed in next 20 days comprising prime minister Sheikh Hasina and few more ministers.
He also predicted that the next general election was likely to be held on December 27.
He made the remarks when the newly-elected mayor and councillors of Sylhet City Corporation met him at his secretariat office in the afternoon.
