Prime minister Sheikh Hasina took COVID-19 vaccine on Thursday.
Directorate General of Health Services director Mizanur Rahman confirmed it saying that she took the first dose of the vaccine.
Earlier, PM’s sister Sheikh Rehena took the vaccine on February 24.
Bangladesh began mass vaccination on February 7. Bangladesh is using Oxford-AstraZeneca developed COVID-19 vaccine.
So far 35.81 lakh people took the jab, including 1.21 lakh on Thursday.
