The Cabinet on Monday instructed the authorities concerned to set up PCR Covid-19 test facilities at the international airports across Bangladesh in keeping with requirements of some countries.
‘A traveller needs to have CPR Covid test certificate four to six hours before departure as required by some countries. The PCR test facilities will be installed at the int'l airports in Dhaka, Chattogram and Sylhet within two to three days to provide the service,’ the cabinet secretary, Khandker Anwarul Islam, said while addressing a briefing at the secretariat after the weekly cabinet meeting.
Prime minister Sheikh Hasina chaired the meeting from her official residence Ganabhaban.
