Dhaka, Mar 27 (Just News): The US President Donald Trump has greeted Bangladesh people on the occasion of Bangladesh's Independence Day.
The US President expressed greetings in separate messages to the President Md. Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
In his message to President Hamid, Trump said, "Today we recognize Bangladesh's rich culture and language and reaffirm our partnership on democracy, development, counterterrorism, trade and investment".
The US President also thanked Hamid and people of Bangladesh for hosting the Rohingya who fled from violence.
In his message to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the US President praised Bangladesh stance on addressing the plight of the Rohingya who fled to safety in Bangladesh.
